Investing in a life coaching can have many different benefits. For example, having a personal pastor and coach will encourage you, pray with you, listen to your concerns, share God’s word with you specific to your situation, and help you set achievable goals that will allow you to understand and appreciate God’s design in all areas of your life.
Working together with your life coach, you will create a sustainable action plan to set you up for success. You can expect to gain fresh perspectives on personal challenges and opportunities, improved thinking and decision making skills, enhanced relationships, and increased confidence in navigating life’s transitions.
What is this 'Good Shepherd Coaching?' I myself am an ordained Free Will Baptist Minister. I have seen stress first hand in ministry from my own experience and the experiences of those who have fallen out of the ministry because of stress. I have developed resources and interventions to help pastors understand the dynamics of stress and self-care. Having this information can enable pastors to better mentor their congregation in regards to stress management. In doing so, they may learn some stress management skills for themselves.I am passionate about, helping pastors in ministry and preventing burnout stress for all Christians.
How is pastoral life coaching different from counseling?
Professional counseling is also a great service and may be the service many clients will need. Counseling focuses on exploring your past, hurts, traumas and pains. Counseling them helps you find healing through your problems. While coaching works with your strengths to put you on a path to success, maintaining a focus on your future. Coaching helps you prevent major problems and keeps you accountable to having continued success in life.
While Alex is also a licensed therapists, Fully Alive life coaching does not provide counseling services. Alex will make recommendations and referrals to local counseling services at any time.
